Future For Brown Bear Products


New Store Brown Bear (Products) to Open in May, 2012. 4306 Homer Spit Road, space 6
Store will include artist with and without disabilitities. Artists included will be Erik Behnke, Linda Thompson, Jan Peyton, Cindy Nelson, Claire O"Donnell, Dave and Caryl Christy, Ted Heure, Deb Lowney, Marlene Wenger, and others. 
The new store needs a lot of love and repair work so pictures will be down loaded as the work is completed. 
Artists to be included along with Erik (art prints, books, cards) and Linda (books, hats and bags) are Jan Peyton (watercolors), Kim Rogers (glass beads), Cindy Nelson (jewlery and mosaics), Kathee Kiefer (hand made soap), Marilee Dupree (artistic dolls), Ted Heuer (wood products), Chick and Barb Deal (Jewlery and knives), Marlene Wenger (Scarves) and  Dave and Caryl Christy (glasswear).
Other Homer authors to be carried in the new store known at this time are- Linda Thompson, Steve Wolfe and Marianne Schlegelmilch

New hand made journals with covers of Erik's images will come out in 2007-  Sold only at Ptarmigan Arts, Aurora Fine Art and directly from Erik at the new store, Brown Bear, Summer 2012

Products for home decorating- 2013
Linda would like to start a fabric shopping bag  business to encourage others to reuse and recycle.  She will have Erik's Polar Bear image along with the words "Save Him" printed on fabric to be sewn on each bag to remind others to recycle and use less energy. Hopefully a product will come out by 2012.
